Through My Lens:
Through My Lens: A Photographer’s Story
For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to beauty—whether in nature, in design, or through the lens of my camera. Photography has been a passion of mine for over 40 years, but it wasn’t until now, as I transition from a successful real estate career, that I have the time to fully immerse myself in my artistic journey.

Discovering the Magic of Photography
Some of my most meaningful moments with a camera have come from being still—really still—and paying close attention. Like waiting patiently at Yosemite’s Firefall, watching the light shift minute by minute until it finally ignited the cliffside in molten orange. Or getting eye-level with a flower, close enough to feel the hum of a bee gathering pollen, a fleeting exchange of life and motion. And then there’s the quiet rhythm of walking the vineyard rows at my favorite winery, capturing the geometry of vines glowing with autumn color, with the warmth of harvest in the air. Each of these photographs represents not just a scene, but a feeling. Wonder. Presence. And a deep gratitude for the way light transforms the world when you pause long enough to see it.

A Lifelong Eye for Design
Photography isn’t the only creative passion that has shaped my life. I’ve also designed and built three homes from the ground up and remodeled over 20 more—each one a testament to my passion for light, form, and balance. My background in interior design and construction has given me a deep appreciation for how art transforms a space, a principle that guides my photography today.

The Art That Moves Me
At my core, I am driven by precision and an unwavering attention to detail. Whether capturing the grandeur of a landscape, the quiet intricacies of a flower, or the rhythm of architectural elements, my work is defined by a deep commitment to excellence. Every composition, every print, and every element of my artistic process is thoughtfully crafted to create images that evoke emotion, tell a story, and bring a sense of harmony into the spaces we live in.
The Journey Ahead
After 33 years in real estate, I am finally stepping into what I have always wanted—to live and breathe fine art photography. My camera is no longer just a companion; it is my voice, my storyteller, my way of sharing the world as I see it. I have traveled to many places and photographed countless subjects, but at the top of my bucket list is Antelope Canyon, a breathtaking slot canyon filled with flowing lines and rich, vibrant colors. There is always something new to capture, always another story to tell. This is just the beginning.
